Course summary

The Bachelor of Laws (LLB) is a recognised degree for admission as a lawyer throughout Australia. Whatever their field of interest, the LLB will equip students with the intellectual, critical and practical skills needed in the professional practice of law. This four-year degree can also be studied as a five-year double degree.

The Bachelor of Laws is offered on campus and by distance education. Students are required to attend an on-campus workshop.

Applicants who do not have the required entry mark for the Bachelor of Laws are encouraged to apply for the Bachelor of Legal and Justice Studies or Associate Degree in Law (Paralegal Studies). If students achieve the required grade point average, they can then apply for transfer into the Bachelor of Laws. A three-year graduate-entry Bachelor of Laws is also available.
