Southern Cross University STAR Early Entry
Year 12 students
STAR Early Entry enables Year 12 students to gain early admission to Southern Cross University on the basis of their school principal's recommendation. STAR Early Entry matches an individual student to a particular SCU course based on their likelihood of success in their chosen discipline.
This page contains information about STAR Early Entry for year 12 students. School principals and careers advisers/guidance officers should refer to SCU STAR Early Entry recommendation guide page.
For more information about our courses and where they are offered, visit course options and refer to the undergraduate course list.
What are the benefits of SCU STAR Early Entry
Successful applicants will receive their offer to Southern Cross University ahead of the crowd. You won’t need to wait to find out your Year 12 results before you start making plans for university. The University will notify Queensland students in mid-October and New South Wales students in mid-November of the outcome of their application. You can get in ahead of everyone else to organise all the things you need to make your transition to university as smooth as possible. There are no fees associated with your STAR Early Entry registration.
Can I apply for all Southern Cross University courses through STAR Early Entry?
Most Southern Cross University undergraduate courses are available through STAR. There are some exceptions - the Bachelor of Midwifery and our Education degrees. Applications for these courses can be made via UAC or QTAC.
