How to Apply — High School Students
There are a number of different entry methods for high school students applying to study with Southern Cross University. Most year 12 students take advantage of our fantastic Early Offer program but if you miss out or are applying for a teaching or midwifery degree you will need to apply through either UAC or QTAC to study with Southern Cross University.
Early Offer
Secure a place at Southern Cross University ahead of the pack and before your Year 12 results are released.
Early Offer enables Year 12 students to gain early admission to Southern Cross University on the basis of their school principal's recommendation. Early Offer matches an individual student to a particular SCU course based on their likelihood of success in their chosen discipline.
Applying for on-campus study
Applications to study an undergraduate degree at one of our campuses are made through the NSW Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) or Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC). Search for your preferred course at SCU and check which of our beautiful campuses the course can be studied at and then list the course as your first preference through a UAC or QTAC application. You can use either UAC or QTAC to apply for study at any of our campuses.
Applying for online study
If you're planning to study your degree online and become part of our interactive online learning community, you need to apply direct to SCU online. Make sure that you have checked your preferred course is available for online study and then apply direct to SCU.
Pathway courses
If you did not quite meet the entry requirements for your chosen degree or perhaps you feel that you are not quite prepared for university study then you should enrol in one of our fantastic pathway courses offered through the SCU College. Find out which pathway course would best suit you.
