How to apply for Advanced Standing
Advanced Standing is a process of assessment that evaluates your current skills and knowledge in order to determine any amount of credit transfer that may be awarded towards units of study in your Southern Cross course.
There are several ways to apply for Advanced Standing when studying with Southern Cross University online or on-campus in Australia:
Apply for Advanced Standing when applying for admission into a course
Complete an Advanced Standing Application at any time following course commencement
Support applications based on professional standing, experience or expertise
If you are applying for Advanced Standing on the basis of informal learning that takes place through professional standing, paid or voluntary work, or community, leisure or domestic activities, you should read the RPL Portfolio of Evidence - Guidelines. You should also complete and upload/lodge the RPL Portfolio of Evidence - Form and supporting documents with your Advanced Standing Application.

Are you studying overseas with an educational collaboration?
If you are studying with Southern Cross University, through an overseas educational collaorator, you should obtain and your completed Advanced Standing Application Form (and ) with the administration officer responsible for Southern Cross University degree programs, at your home institution.
