Study Social Work

This high job growth area offers a variety of careers in client service roles, service management, research, strategy and policy development. Job Outlook Australia’s projection in social work is for up to 50,000 new job openings between 2015 and 2020!

Our graduates are sought after in child protection, health, mental health, disability services, housing, youth work, aged care, drug and alcohol rehabilitation, community development and domestic violence services.

With our Bachelor of Social Work, you gain an entry-level, professionally-accredited qualification to practise as a social worker, and the course has an embedded Honours program if you’re interested in pursuing a research path.

Or if you have an undergraduate degree in the social sciences, social welfare, psychology or related fields, our Master of Social Work (Professional Qualifying) is an Australian Association of Social Workers accredited qualification and meets the Australian Social Work Education and Accreditation Standards (ASWEAS).
