Unit description
Building on knowledges of perception, transmission of visual information and artefacts this unit allows students to experiment with installation strategies. The way images, video, paintings, objects, and complex media are positioned into dialogue with one another has transformative power. Practice-based literacy of spatial design is key to the development of students independent and collaborative practices. The theme for this unit is ‘Installation’.

Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit.
