Unit description
Encourages substantial progress towards producing a coherent and competent body of work, which shows professional ability and individual expression. In this unit, emphasis is placed on sustainability, via independent investigation and the development of the creative and expressive potential inherent in the student's work. Ethical and sustainable practice, combined with advanced innovation in material handling and ideas, should be evident at this stage of students' practice. The themes for this unit are ‘Techniques and Sustainability’.

Learning outcomes
