Unit description
Explores the role of intrapreneurship within organisations including the motivations, systems and cultures that support those roles. Students will understand the challenges faced by intrapreneurs in driving innovation within established organisations and how they can overcome them. Tools will be used to support the application of concepts that help deliver successful execution.

Module 1: What is Intrapreneurship and why is it important?
Module 2: Challenges of being an intrapreneur – Customers and problem-solving
Module 3: Developing Customer Solutions - Ideation and Prototyping
Module 4: Challenges of being an intrapreneur – Resources and effective business casing
Module 5: Challenges of being an intrapreneur – People
Module 6: Challenges of being an intrapreneur – Technology and Processes
Learning outcomes
