Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

Identify and justify business/industry related problems or issues worthy of investigation

Create and present an ethical and achievable research design based on appropriate methods.

Develop, pilot and apply critical research tools that have the potential to solicit required data to analyse a given problem.

Demonstrate an understanding of various research methodologies and their applicability to an industry context.
