Unit description
Candidates undertake advanced research on an approved topic under the supervision of at least two supervisors approved by the Dean, Graduate Studies and are required to write a thesis of at least 50,000 words.
Unit content
There is no formal syllabus for the thesis component. However, candidates are expected to proceed in accordance with an approved research plan.
Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
