Provides students with the opportunity to apply their skills and knowledge within the context of a range of operational Clinical Exercise Physiology facilities. Students attend and participate in internal (SCU student-led Health Clinic) and external placements to complete the balance of the hours required for ESSA accreditation and the Masters of Clinical Exercise Physiology course completion. Students are expected to demonstrate their knowledge and competency to design, deliver and evaluate safe and effective exercise interventions for people across the AEP target pathologies.
- Complete internal placement hours within the Southern Cross University Health Clinic under the supervision of an accredited Exercise Physiologist.
- Complete external placement hours under the supervision of an accredited Exercise Physiologist or appropriate allied health professional.
