Unit description
Develops a working knowledge of construction estimating methods, quantity takeoffs, costs, and price determination used for compilation of a tender package.

Interpreting civil construction drawings and specifications
Material takeoffs
Estimating time and labour
Performing calculations for cost estimates
Cost monitoring and control
