Unit description

Introduces and applies the fundamental engineering principles and tools required for design and installation of common engineered hydraulic systems including water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, stormwater and drainage infrastructure, culverts and detention basins.

Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

3use industry-standard software to design creative solutions for engineered hydraulic systems.
