Unit description
Introduces students to the central role of media technologies in the emerging globalised, convergent media environment. This unit emphasises the changing relationships between new and established media forms, as well as the political, economic and cultural significance of these transformations. In exploring key theories and phenomena relevant to the contemporary media world, this unit aims to foster critical reflection through creative media practice.
