Unit description

Introduces foundation concepts of classroom and behaviour management, with a focus on creating a quality learning environment. Considers aspects of proactive classroom management such as student engagement and motivation through establishing productive relationships, planning relevant curricula and effective pedagogy. Pedagogical approaches to student welfare and discipline will be explored.

Understanding and motivating students

  • The importance of developing productive relationships with students
