Unit description
Provides students with the opportunity to enhance their professional praxis through collaborative and reflexive action learning. Designed for students who wish to focus upon change and/or improvement in relation to a particular aspect of their professional practice. Students can also implement an evaluation planned through CYS03347.
Unit content
- Understanding professional practice (theories in use, espoused theories, practical wisdom)
- Reflexive practice and the nature and process of collaborative and participatory action learning
- Identifying and articulating an aspects of practice for change and improvement
- Data collection for action learning or evaluation
- Disseminating learning to a community of professionals
Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit.
