Unit description
Investigates pedagogical theory related to the teaching of dance and gymnastics to Stage 4 and Stage 5 school students. Students will examine cooperative learning, assessment approaches, and the principles of peer and self-assessment. Students will apply these pedagogical concepts to their personal and practicum-based experiences in dance and gymnastics.

Module 4: Pedagogical practice, application and safety
Module 5: Contemporary gymnastic movement 1
Module 6: Contemporary gymnastic movement 2 and evaluating movement

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
