Unit description

Supports the development of a literature review related to a specific research problem in education. Students develop conceptual and theoretical frameworks, and learn key research skills through the analysis, synthesis and evaluation of literature.

Module 1: Exploring topics and questions

Module 2: Identifying and framing key concepts

Module 3: Identifying and critiquing key studies and works

Module 4: Understanding & reviewing theories

Module 5: Understanding & reviewing paradigms

Module 6: Exploring and evaluating gaps and syntheses

Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit.
