Unit description
Develops understanding of the technical, commercial and financial elements required to successfully tender for projects. Students will develop a working knowledge of estimating methods, quantity takeoffs, costs, and price determination, in addition to learning the importance of non-cost based components and considerations and evaluation of tenders. A scenario-based learning approach is used to guide students in applying the knowledge and skills developed throughout their studies to complete a real industry-based engineering project tender.
