Unit aim

Deals with fluid flow in industrial applications, including heating and air conditioning systems, piping, transport and turbo machinery. This unit builds on earlier material and applies it to viscous internal and external flows, compressible flows and turbo machinery. The underlying physics and mathematical description of fluid flow are addressed, together with flow measurement techniques.
