Unit aim

Applies students undergraduate and work related experience to both theoretical and practical aspects of land use and environmental planning. The unit centres developing higher order skills in the identification and application of key planning concepts, issues and processes, primarily in relation to statutory and strategic planning at the local and regional levels. In addition, coastal management, climate change, sustainability and community involvement are examined in relation to environmental planning.
