Introduces students to the profession of occupational therapy, including: Values and beliefs, philosophical bases, foundational concepts, models and scope of current occupational therapy practice. Understanding humans as occupational beings and the importance of occupation to health will also be introduced. Fieldwork will focus on the development of professional behaviours.
