Unit description
Provides broad and critical foundational understandings and skills relating to the study of personal development, health and physical education. Details the nature and role of PDHPE as a discipline for supporting the development of health and wellbeing.

Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
On completion of this unit, students should be able to: | |

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

It is a requirement that all students MUST wear appropriate footwear to participate in any physical activity (this is an occupational Health and Safety requirement). It is recommended to also wear clothes that are loose fitting and to allow freedom of movement for tutorial activity (On-Campus students).
