These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

synthesise the body of evidence on exercise as a complement for the treatment of metabolic and renal diseases

apply and adapt critical clinical thinking and clinical reasoning to provide timely identification of, and response(s) to, clinical safety risks for exercise for individuals with metabolic and renal conditions

critically analyse and integrate the knowledge of metabolic and renal disease into the design of appropriate client health and fitness assessments

design and deliver safe, effective and evidence-based clinical exercise interventions for individuals with metabolic and renal conditions
