Unit description
Introduces students to the principles and practices of accommodation operations in the hospitality industry. Students focus on the target markets, and the Guest Cycle.

Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to: | |

2 | identify and compare and contrast the operational links between front and back of house and their impact on the guest experience and profitability in the context of the "guest cycle" |
3 | demonstrate the capability to enhance the guest cycle to meet the needs of target markets and achieve profitability |
4 | demonstrate the knowledge and skills to reflect upon building a service culture to meet the needs of target markets. |
On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
