Unit description
Introduces students to the Australian legal system and key areas of law that affect commercial operations in the hospitality sector. Students also focus on management principles and practices in a hospitality management context by introducing ethical behaviour as a foundation for leadership.

- Contracts in the context of the hospitality sector
- Consumer rights and the hospitality sector
- Principles of negligence and their application to the hospitality sector
- Principles of ethics and their application in the hospitality sector
- Ethics, law and leadership in the hospitality sector
Learning outcomes
