Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
demonstrate knowledge of the key strategic, managerial and operational elements of digital information and technology systems in hospitality;
identify and critically analyse the role of management in digital information and technology systems in hospitality;
demonstrate the capability to design and propose a digital information and technology system for hospitality;
demonstrate the knowledge and skills to reflect upon the challenges of integrating digital information and technology systems to drive enhanced guest satisfaction and profitability.
