Presents cultural and community strengthening practices that assist in establishing appropriate and ethical language and cultural revitalisation programs in partnership with Aboriginal Elders, stakeholders and communities.

Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

articulate and promote Aboriginal cultural principles and culturally safe systems that engage Elders and Traditional Owners to speak from Country

apply cultural principles to emphasise the ethical ownership, proper control and supportive relatedness that facilitates group learning with Elders

co-design models with Elders and Traditional Owners that ensure respect, ethical sharing and care in speaking on Country.
