Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

identify, plan and demonstrate appropriate use of text, audio and graphics to enhance common interface components and screen layouts

integrate interaction design with aesthetics into user interfaces in accordance with cultural, contextual and technological suitability

utilise applicable software and technologies to capture, create and manipulate digital resources

apply appropriate media processing methods and/or techniques to optimise the user experience
