Unit description
Explores the application of equal employment opportunity and workplace health and safety legislation to the workplace. Students gain a working knowledge of EEO and work health and safety principles, the practice of these laws in the workplace and their importance in creating a healthy, safe and non-discriminatory workplace culture.

Module 3: Workers compensation
Module 4: Discrimination at work
Module 5: Managing EEO and diversity in the workplace
Module 6: Resolving complaints about workplace discrimination
Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to: | |

4 | apply accurately and evaluate the legal principles related to work health and safety and workers compensation, as enacted in NSW laws in legislation and case law. |
On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
