Unit aim

Important: in 2017 this unit is being removed from the University’s offerings and is being replaced by MAT71004 Introduction to Evidence for Health Science Practitioners. Any students instructed to enrol in MAT00330 should instead enrol in MAT71004. If you have any enquiries please contact the Student Advice Team. Provides students with an understanding of research methods and design so that they can be applied to the study of the science and management of sport and exercise. Students will analyse relevant statistical data and gain an understanding of the research process and ethical issues. Computing skills and appropriate software packages will be introduced that aid with report presentation and analysis.
