Unit description
Enable students to commence, sustain and reflect upon further continuity experiences. Introduces basic principles of emotional and mental wellbeing within the childbearing continuum. Provides students with an understanding of the midwife’s role in relation to the regulatory framework of practice.

- National regulatory framework of midwifery practice in Australia
- Providing and supporting continuity of care
- Reflection on and in practice
Learning outcomes
