Unit description
Builds upon knowledge from Well Woman: Pregnancy, Labour and Birth, Postnatal with a focus on fetal and newborn developing complexities during pregnancy, birth and the perinatal period. Students will learn about the detection and management of these complexities in conjunction with the Australian College of Midwives' Consultation and Referral Guidelines.

- Babies with congenital or genetic disorders
- Babies with developing complexities
- Support for woman, her baby and family
Learning outcomes
