Unit description

Examines the development and operational issues associated with managing casinos, gaming machines, racing, wagering, online gambling, lotteries, keno, charitable and minor gambling.

  2. The development and current status of Australian gambling
  3. International and Australian gambling environments
  4. Consumer behaviour in gambling and social responsibility

Module 2: Types of gambling operations

  1. Casino operations
  2. Gaming machine operations
  3. Racing and wagering operations
  4. Online gambling
  5. Lottery operations
  6. Keno operations
  7. Minor and charitable gaming operations
