Unit description

Students form virtual teams to create and present a detailed business plan that supports, fully justifies and has the potential to secure finance for an entrepreneurial endeavour.

Unit content

The unit is a workshop unit in which students are required to work in a virtual team environment. The work of teams will be moderated on a weekly basis by the appointed academic through on-line meetings. The process will be supported through 4 reading modules:

Module1: Establishing and managing virtual teams
Module 2: Strategic Entrepreneurship
Module 3: Developing the entrepreneurial plan
Module 4: Presenting professional business plans

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit.
