Candidates undertake advanced research on an approved topic under the supervision of at least two supervisors approved by the Higher Degrees Research Committee and are required to write a final ethics application, a draft findings chapter and a draft discussion and conclusion.
There is no formal syllabus for the thesis component. However, candidates are expected to proceed in accordance with an approved research plan.
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
