Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

Demonstrate advanced level instrumental and/or vocal techniques and/or production techniques in a small ensemble setting

Plan, evaluate and reflect on outcomes of a collaborative creative recorded project

Present advanced level recorded creative works

Demonstrate ongoing advanced level practice and preparation skills necessary for participation in advanced level ensembles

  • Performance students are required to provide all their own leads, microphones, tuners, drumsticks and metronomes and must wear shoes in the D Block building at all times. Students are to provide their own ear plugs if required.
