Unit description

Consolidates advanced level skills and knowledge in relation to collaborative music making practices, songwriting, composition, arrangement and music performance and presentation. Students will work in teams to design, develop and deliver a major collaborative creative project aligned with their own creative interests.

Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
1Apply advanced level artistic skills in the development and presentation of a major creative work
2Design, develop and present a major creative work in a collaborative team context
3Evaluate and reflect on progress and outcomes of a major collaborative creative work and implement strategies to improve outcomes in relation to both individual and group practice at an advanced level

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
