Develops the midwifery knowledge, skills and attitudes required to work with women in the contexts of mental health and wellbeing in health care practice. Learning undertaken draws on previous study. This unit focuses on mental health illness that women may have experienced prior to pregnancy or develop as a result of childbearing.
