Unit description
Explores the naturopathic approach to female reproductive lifespan and the pathophysiology of common conditions impacting women’s health. The unit examines naturopathic and conventional medical practice in a range of women’s health conditions alongside a modern pathophysiological understanding and evidence-based approach.
Unit content
Topic 1: Overview of reproductive lifespan
Topic 2: Non-reproductive disorders affecting women’s health
Topic 3: Major causes of functional and organic pathology
Topic 4: Naturopathic approach to women’s health conditions
Topic 5: Pathophysiology and targeted management
Topic 6: Womens' health conditions and recognising acute emergencies
