Provides students with a comprehensive understanding of nursing interventions that facilitate health maintenance and restorative health of individuals and communities. Students further develop assessment, screening, clinical skills and cultural safety relevant to working with clients in a range of primary care settings. Problem-solving and decision-making skills, that respond to clinical challenges, will be developed in primary and secondary nursing interventions with priority population groups to provide person-centred care.
