Unit aim

Enables students to build on current knowledge and skills to demonstrate sound clinical judgement and reasoning based on evidence based nursing care. A systematic and comprehensive approach to health assessment and chronic health complaints will be explored.

  • Principles of comprehensive patient health assessment
  • Application of comprehensive patient health assessment
  • Principles and processes of constructive feedback
  • Documentation using the Subjective, Objective Assessment and Plan (SOAP) method
