    It is recommended that students who need to complete both PBHL2002 Health Promotion and PBHL3001 Health Promotion Project as part of their course, enrol in both units in the same year.


Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

collaborate to utilise the principles of health promotion and behavioural change in the design of a health promotion activity

apply models and theories of health promotion and behaviour change in providing a rationale for the design of a health promotion activity

evaluate evidence for individual, group and population strategies and methods in health promotion
