Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
On completion of this unit, students should be able to: | |
---|---|
1 | describe the role of orthomechanical therapies in the treatment of lower limb pathology |
2 | evaluate the evidence for the practice of orthomechanical therapy |
3 | critique theoretical models of lower limb orthomechanical therapy |
4 | describe the characteristics and uses of materials and techniques used in the manufacture of orthotic devices |
5 | demonstrate practical techniques in orthomechanical therapy |
6 | incorporate orthomechanical intervention into treatment plans |
