Unit description
Develops knowledge and skills in methods of observation, measurement and psychometric assessment, including the use of formal psychological tests. Ethical and cultural factors as they relate to psychological assessment are considered throughout the unit.

- Introduction to psychological assessment and test development
- Psychometric properties, scoring and test interpretation
- The process of psychological assessment
- Assessment of intelligence and intellectual disability
- Assessment of personality
- Assessment of emotion regulation and neurodiversity
Learning outcomes
