Unit description
Explores how we change and grow from conception to death. Development is viewed as a lifelong process that can be studied scientifically across three developmental domains: physical, cognitive and psychosocial. Students will learn how to think critically about some of the significant changes that occur across an individual’s lifespan and become familiar with the important theories relating to those changes.

- Socioemotional processes and development / Psychosocial development
- Social contexts of development
- Endings
- Exploring, examining, and understanding development across the lifespan
Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit.
