Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
On completion of this unit, students should be able to: | |
---|---|
1 | distinguish between different methods for conducting research based on their relative merits for the investigation of applied behavioural questions |
2 | evaluate specific research methods in terms of their likely impact in the community |
3 | identify sources of insight regarding important behavioural phenomena from a reading of the research literature and other relevant bodies of information |
4 | conduct empirical research and report it in a form suitable for publication. |
