Engages students in a staged thesis unit for the Bachelor of Indigenous Studies honours program. Students have the opportunity to complete a thesis under the guidance of a supervisor. This is the third of a series of thesis units for the Bachelor of Indigenous Studies Honours Programs (the other units are SOC40021 and SOC40022).
With guidance from an academic supervisor, students will typically cover the following topics during the completion of SOC40023:
Planning and conducting a research project
Relevant methodologies and methods
Conducting the research project
Writing a draft thesis
Completing the thesis for submission.
