Experience in the business workplace plays an important role in the educative process by providing students with the opportunity to apply and assess the theory studied at University in the context of workplace practice. This unit introduces students to the requirements of the working environment and allows them to practice and refine workplace skills under supervision in structured settings, allowing students to be better prepared for entry to the workforce after graduation. Students are responsible for finding their own positions for Internship.
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
