Provides students with a strong foundation and knowledge of spa management. The history, development and current trends of spa businesses, as a global phenomenon will be addressed. Students will be introduced to the key qualities of an outstanding spa experience and the capabilities required of the spa manager. Applying knowledge of and engaging with spa businesses are key features of this unit, through the use of real life case studies and field visits.
